When do i weigh myself on hcg diet
Avoid the unhealthy oils such as vegetable oil and shortening. Butter may be consumed lightly. Thirty minutes of cardio per day and light weights with higher repetition. It is recommended to consult your physician before participating in any vigorous activity. We recommend whole grains, oats, wheat bread, etc.
Avoid heavy starch and sugars such as those found in potatoes, and yams. Hydrogenated oils should be avoided typically found in some canned goods and pastries. Strive to stay away from processed foods. Avoid high volumes of fructose syrup in such things as canned fruit, fruit drinks and soda.
Continue to weigh yourself daily. If you experience a common 2-pound gain within the maintenance phase do not worry. However, once the scale registers above a 2lb. Hope this help!! Thanks so much for you encouragement!!! As we say here in Miami….. I find that the daily loss of weight really motivates me to stay on the diet and avoid the emotional triggers to eat food off plan.
Thanks to flavored stevia and lots of tea…. It seems to average out to a pound a day after 3 days if you are following the vlcd. It keeps me accountable, and It makes me excited to get up and hopefully see a loss in the morning.
I keep a food journal so I can go back and see what was different the day before to cause a gain. Also, it helps with knowing when a stall or plateau is occurring. I see my doctor weekly for a weigh-in and use that as the official weight for the week.
I use the daily for evaluating how my body reacts to foods. Thank you for your continuous encouragement! Every time I ate it I gained. The same with dairy. Every time I added the 1 tbsp of milk to my coffee I gained. I have an Aria scale that wirelessly transmits my weigh-in to the fitbit.
They have cool graphs that chart my weight. So, there is super convenience all the way around in that respect. I actually felt it quite liberating to not be tied to the scale and even happier that when I did finally receive the one I ordered that I was down 9 lbs during that timeframe. It seems to be helping my psyche as when I saw the loss today after not having been on the scale in two days I was again elated with the number.
I found that it was a real motivator to see the progress. Post HCG, I continue to weigh daily. Every round is different so I need to do it this way all the time for the best tracking data geek. I want to know exactly where I am! It helps keep me on track with my goals and reminds me daily to follow protocol. I strongly prefer to encourage my clients not to weigh until they finish phase 2 and pay more attention to how they feel and how clothes are fitting.
On my third round since February 6th and have lost 52 pounds. Like my day can begin wonderfully or horrifically based on that one stupid device. Not worth it to me! Seeing losses reinforces sticking to the protocol- and no loss makes me look for what I might be doing wrong and learn about what impacts my weight. If for some reason I am not seeing losses on the scale, I have measurements to keep me from becoming disgusted.
Control, control control! But when I have not lost any weight and I know that I have strictly been following the diet protocol, I am really freaked out and bummed. But even knowing that, I find myself really stressed out. Also, for me, there are small switches that I may do in a day and I like to see how my body reacts. I experienced some of my largest losses those nights during the second half of P2.
So I know now through that and some other experimentation that my body reacts well to tomatoes in particular. Likewise, I have learned that for whatever reason my body is a bit more dairy tolerant than some other bloggers and posters who write about their experience with HCG. I can tolerate a bit more than the tablespoon of milk without any significant changes in fat or body weight as compared to days where dairy is completely excluded.
Usually I would weigh myself weekly or every few days, but with hcg it tends to fluctuate so I like to see if what I did the day before worked better or worse and immediately correct. This keeps me on top of myself at all times! I have put to much effort I to this to let it all fall threw! It works perfect for me! I always weigh at the beginning of each day! I find that my mood is terrific every day. Simeons prescribed. I prefer daily so I know my limit for the day, if ever I was bad the previous day.
And that has prompted me to do another round of HCG. Also, if I lost it made me feel as if I could afford a little cheat. With this round I have decided to weigh just once a week. Thanks so much for all you do!! Darien P. My top weight was , current weight I am thinking about my goal weight…I was in high school…but, now as I head into my 50s, I think that weight might be too low. How did you choose? I use hormone free drops. So thank you!! I prefer to wait to see a much lower number than a couple pounds at a time.
It also helped me not to get addicted to weighing myself once I completed the tough part of the program. I know that I get addicted to the scale and want to avoid that if at all possible.
Last week i even managed for the first time in MANY years to have a piece of cake in a social event, and not having more…. I, however, try very diligently to not put short term weight loss number goals into my head…. I just try to get to each meal without cheating — and challenge myself to drink my water every day not always easy lol. I was just not in the right frame of mind — and I had several demotivating chests on each prior round.
Wow- that was WAY more info than you asked for…. Sounds a little creepy — lol…. If I weigh myself every day and the only moves alittle or nothing thats when I look to icecream.
Hope that helps. It keeps me on track. I can see when I follow the plan it works. His book opened my eyes to the truth about intermittent fasting- he cited so many studies and explained things logically and all of a sudden I felt so free! This made SO much sense to me after thinking about it. I actually look forward to fasting now.
I feel clean, light, and have more energy than usual. It also makes me crave healthy food at the end of it too. I never finish a fast craving junk food. Seriously, what sane person craves broccoli?? I do think that your body adjusts to fasting in the sense that it was probably a little harder for me at first than it is now.
Crossfit is just about everywhere now- even in Ecuador! It felt great and kept me going in my healthy way of living. And I believe the effects on metabolism and insulin sensitivity and thyroid health are different than just any old exercise.
It has been found now that the studies backing these pro-breakfast claims were actually misconstrued. Myths Surrounding Breakfast and Weight.
Breakfast and WeightLoss. If something is working, why change it! But this pattern of eating is actually used by a number of fitness and body building enthusiasts, often referred to as a daily hour fast, where you eat only in a hour window each day. To give you an example, today I had my first meal of the day after I came home from crossfit at about 2pm.
I had 1 large porkchop with all the fat on it and a rather large mess of green beans with butter and salt. Later I had a gluten free turkey club sandwich from a local shop I like.
Then I had 3 persimmons and at least 5 clementines. Then another gluten free sandwich. None of these meals made me overly full- I felt just about right after eating this. I found it too difficult to try to eat only a couple of cookies.
The problem is not normal amounts of sugar, for instance the way my husband eats his and stays around lbs for the majority of our 13 year marriage. If you are one of those like my husband, YAY for you! You can eat sweets in moderation after you finish the hCG Diet. If you are like me, you might be surprised to discover how EASY life is when you remove these foods completely from your life.
Well, that sums it up! I do intermittent fasting also. My holistic doctor said to eat no more than 2 servings of fruit, and eat that before 3 PM. I have gastroparesis and find that eating grains or dairy makes my stomach take too long to digest food, so I eat lean meat, no starchy veggies, and nuts.
For lunch, I have VegaOne protein powder mixed in almond or cashew milk, nuts, and maybe leftovers if I have some. For dinner, I eat meat and nonstarchy veggies. I have terrible cravings now, but I attribute that to ending this 2nd round by allowing myself to treat myself to a lot of no-no foods on the day of my last injection at a potluck lunch at school that day.
I find that meal prep over the weekends is my only saving grace with cravings. If I fail to plan, I plan to fail. I also have certain things that I order at restaurants, and I mostly frequent restaurants that I know have things that I can eat.
In April I was admitted to the hospital for emergency gallbladder surgery. I had done my last round of HCG in February and was finished with 6 weeks ph 3. After 4 days of antibiotics and IVs with glucose, I gained 15 , was blown up like a balloon from the procedure!
