Where to find fertile spores

Killed some Greater Spore Bats, sometimes i got of these spores. Comment by Allakhazam This quest gives you an average reward in XP and Sporeggar rep, but the loot reward is -check it out - exactly one single Glowcap.

Various sporebats can be found all around Sporeggar, mostly to the east and south.

Marsh Walkers can be found walking along most rivers in the location. Fertile Spores s can be collecting without the quest so you might carry some in your backpack already. More Fertile Spores unlocks after this quest.

I was already friendly with Sporeggar by the time I hit These spores are going on my server for about 60s each, so I just bought 48 of them and turned them in to get to Honored.

Comment by Thottbot 18,17 with about Greater Spore bat spawning! You can find them all along the edge of Zangarmarsh to the west edge of the world. You can still turn in these fertile spores for rep at revered, so go for it. This seems to me to be the easiest thing to do.

Comment by Thottbot i have found out that these things drop really well off of the bats that have a yellow name. Comment by Thottbot No trust me just kill those Fen striders and they drop like candy. Bog Lords give rep each and Giants give rep each. Then you get the chance of Motes of Life dropping which is a money maker and there is also the grey items.

I just farmed The Dead Mire for 90 mins and made 7g just from rubbish and still had 2 green items and 26 Motes of Life no herbing. I have found that killing the Fen Striders does drop these more often than anything else though.
